There goes the neighbourhood

David Cronenberg is filming his latest film "Eastern Promises" or as we got it in the post "Untitled Film" in Broadway Market. What else can I say? I hope they are nice to us locals. Film people so often come into areas and have this attitude like they own it. We shall see. I saw a jolly man carrying a really large director's chair and he was nice, but a friend of mine said that one of the crew nearly ran her over and just stepped into her cycle path with no warning. Maybe he was just daft?

Anyhow...it is a bit exciting. I love film!

First snow of 2007

I awoke covered in hives again. I dont know why. Maybe it was the coffee at the bar? Perhaps its the weather and my system is just as confused as the worlds? I thought winter would eventually come if not just later this year. The calendar might be screwed too. So i took a pierton and will go back to sleep and hope that the snow is a good sign. I hope we have plenty of it for snowboading.

First Blog

Well how safe is any information these days? Seems like the inclination to hold our cards close to our chests is more prevailing now than ever...or is it less so? Don't give yourself away says Joni Mitchell, but shouldn't we? Isn't the reward outweigh the risk? What parts do we give away? This is what I ask myself at 2am when I'm trying to get a blog going so I can post photos and scraps of life with my new phone. Finally at last a phone I truly love! I never thought I would, but it is great having such a cool camera phone!
